It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Today we decorated the house for Christmas. The Christmas bug bit me bad this year for two reasons: one because it's our year to have Little Man on Christmas day, and two because we didn't have much of a Christmas last year due to moving on the 26th. I've been restraining myself from decorating by buying presents, but now that I'm 99% done, I could withstand it no longer. So without further ado, I give you a picture montage of our day of decorating.

Little Man helped me put decorations on the tree.

Putting on the star. (please ignore my monkey toes)

It's a completed Christmas Tree!

We only have fake plants in our house, as I am only capable of killing live ones. So I spruced them all up.

A candycane (and "Holy crap what are we going to do with all these extra Christmas balls?!") staircase.

Decorated baby pictures. I just love these.

Stockings, hung by the dog food with care.

And after all the decorations were up, we made a Gingerbread house, complete with a hand full of icing for Little Man.

And that was our Christmas spirit filled day.

I tried to post a comment earlier today but I didn't have the correct ID, so it didn't work. Now I can say that I think your photos are great! We wish we could be with you and your fantastic family a lot more often. Love from both of us, Dad and Mom

Can't remember what my id is...something about flute...oh, year, "fluter"! I think...too brain dead to think; waiting for the nurse who's taking me home to finish with her charts, etc...anyway,

Love your pictures and writings!!! More pictures, please!!! Miss you, love you...call me? I'm off tomorrow and Thursday...wasn't planning to work tonight, but the evening secretary called in sick, so they called me this morning about 9am...I was up and out with Karen Taylor...taking cars in for repair/tune-ups...so finally got a nap at about 11:30 to 1...am so glad I'm off today!!!! So NEED to sleep in!!!

Read any good books lately...I've reread all I care to right now and need a new book...recommendations??? I'm being frugal and will go to the library or used book store after it...though the Border's near Starbucks...Gaithersburg Square? Shopping Center...is being closed down...so there ARE bargains there...maybe we'll do that tomorrow...

Love you!
